Street Photography Workshop

Seeing, Shooting, and Editing with Intent

This one-day street photography workshop is designed for photographers who want to slow down, observe carefully, and make deliberate images in public spaces. Rather than focusing on gear or quick techniques, the workshop explores how and why images are made - looking at intent, timing, light, and editing as part of a coherent photographic practice. The workshop combines discussion, guided shooting, independent exploration, and image review in a small, focused group. By the end of the day, participants will leave with a clearer personal approach to street photography and a more deliberate way of working in public spaces.

About the Workshop

Street photography is often perceived as mainly reactive or opportunistic whereas strong street work is built on observation, awareness, and thoughtful decision-making, all leading from the photographer’s initial intent.

This workshop is designed to help participants:

  • Clarify what they are responding to in the street

  • Work with intention towards a desired output
