Street Photography Workshop

Seeing, Shooting, and Editing with Intent

This one-day street photography workshop is designed for photographers who want to slow down, observe more carefully, and make more deliberate images in public space. Rather than focusing on gear or quick techniques, the workshop explores how and why images are made - looking at intent, timing, light, and editing as part of a coherent photographic practice. The day combines discussion, guided shooting, independent exploration, and image review in a small, focused group.

About the Workshop

Street photography is often misunderstood as mainly reactive or opportunistic whereas strong street work is built on observation, awareness, and thoughtful decision-making.

This workshop is structured to help participants:

  • Clarify what they are responding to in the street

  • Work with intention towards a desired output

  • Reflect on images through editing and discussion
